Examine your beliefs, and be sure they really make “cents”.
My children were mesmerized and very impressed with a magician’s ability to bend a penny while they held it in their fists. Later when we got home, I told them I could do that trick too. They looked at me with such excitement and asked me to do it.
I told them I would, but first they needed to wash up. (This gave me time to get out the pliers and bend a penny to magically switch out during my performance.) I pulled it off without a hitch and I too impressed my children.
Afterwards, they begged me to tell them how I did it. Reluctantly, I did so. They, in turn, got very angry at me. I was so surprised at their response. Later I realized that they were resisting the truth because it wasn’t what they believed.
Examine your beliefs, and be sure they really make “cents”.
