With all the precipitation we’ve had lately things are really wet. So when my son went out to play today, he came in a muddy mess. I suggested that he consider taking a bath instead of a shower. Somehow the idea of him soaking in a tub seemed like a better way for him to get clean. He didn’t see it that way.

“Mom”, he said, “if I did that I would just be soaking in my own filth. Good point, I thought. Wow, maybe he is right.

Sometimes the only way to come clean is to admit you are wrong.
