It was a gorgeous fall day and I had the pleasure of watching my kids have some fun. Together they were raking and blowing leaves to form a very large pile. They would then take turns jumping in, diving over and rolling around in the colorful mound that they had created. Occasionally they would stop to reorganize their pile and then the jumping would resume.

As I watched them play, everything seemed so right. It was just the way life was supposed to be. Although they were working, they were having fun along the way.

When I reflected on what was special about this moment, I realized we were in between the schedules of organized sports and the deadlines of school projects.

When things start piling up, jump in it or over it and have some fun.<–>
